The James Beard Foundation (JBF) will soon announce the nominees of the 2011 JBF Awards, the highest honor for food and beverage professionals working in North America, in Beard’s hometown, Portland.
The event will begin March 20 with a fundraiser dinner at the Multnomah Athletic Club, featuring all five of Oregon’s James Beard Foundation Award winners and all 14 James Beard Foundation Award nominees, as well as locally produced wine, beer and spirits.
The 2011 nominees will be revealed at a press conference the following morning, March 21, at the Oregon Culinary Institute.
